The Cavaliers are adding another young big man.

Undrafted Miami center Ernest Udeh has agreed to sign a two-way contract with Cleveland, according to Vince Wolfram of Field of 68. Hoops Wire has confirmed the agreement through its own sources.

Udeh, 22, spent last season with the Hurricanes after previous stops at Kansas and TCU.

The 6-foot-11 center averaged 6.7 points, 9.2 rebounds and 1.4 blocks in 33 starts while earning ACC All-Defensive Team honors.

Known primarily for his rebounding, rim protection and athleticism around the basket, Udeh gives the Cavs another developmental frontcourt prospect to evaluate alongside their returning young players.

The agreement is expected to fill one of Cleveland’s three two-way contract slots heading into the 2026-27 season.

The Cavs have stayed active since the draft, selecting Arkansas guard Meleek Thomas with the No. 34 overall pick, agreeing to an Exhibit 10 contract with guard Xaivian Lee and now adding Udeh to the organization’s growing group of young talent.
